- Coordinate volunteers & volunteer projects
- Assist with visitors & other light office tasks
- Help with cleaning & organizing
- Monday—Fridays mornings or afternoons
Help with community outreach surveys!
- Take surveys of prospective clients at local non-profits
- Gain valuable experience
Help with transportation!
- Flexible times throughout the week on an as needed basis.
- Must have valid driver’s license & space for a children’s car seat.
Help with babysitting!
- Must have extensive babysitting experience and willingness to submit to a criminal background check.
- Mondays through Fridays mornings 9:15am—12:15 or Mon, Tues, & Thurs afternoons from 1-5pm
- Weekend babysitters (need to give Arbor House a 3 month commitment)
Are you Handy?
- Help with general repairs & maintenance around the house. Always needed!
Help with our home business!
- Assist our residents in soap-making, quilting, baking, card making, etc.
- Attend weekend craft fairs and assist with selling.
- Mon, Tues, & Thurs afternoons, No prior experience needed.
- Business minded? We can use your help to get this business off the ground!
Bring dinner!
- Share a meal with our residents. Monday—Thursday evenings.
Mentor a resident!
- Share your life and experience with a resident.
- Take our residents to “cultural events” (plays, festivals, presentations, etc).
Plan a service project!
- Plan a yard work or house cleaning event with your group.
- Help plan a birthday or holiday party with your group.
- Hold a “diaper drive” or other event to raise donations for Arbor House.
